Representing More Than The Image of God

Raised in a religious family, going to church was just part of the weekly routine. St. Casimir[1] was our parish; interior and exterior immaculately designed, something so colorful and beautiful. This church wasn’t just part of my life, it was in every major experience of my life; both religiously and socially. This church brought people from all parts of the Polish, Roman Catholic community[2] together each and every Sunday. This is not only a place of belief and prayer, but a landmark for the community.

  1. Wow. This blog was cited wonderfully, and laid out beautifully. From your words while implied, ensured your passion for this place. I admire anyone who is not afraid of who they are, especially with religion. Today a lot of people hide behind other guards, but I am so happy you can embrace who you are!

  2. Out of all the posts I read your post I the one with cited the most academically. I also enjoyed the visuals of the church, especially the second one. Moreover, even though I like your title I think it could have made shorter.

  3. Loved the topic of this piece as I feel in today's society, religion and faith is being pushed aside by the new latest trends. I thought adding the cultural significance was a great touch, but you could have also added a bit more descriptive detail about what the church looked like, aside from all of the pictures.

  4. That is a gorgeous church, I'm very glad you added the visuals. You explained very well why it is important to the community and to you. I definitely agree with the above comments that so few are willing to discuss their faith for fear of being shunned, and I really admire you for opening up about it. I suppose the only thing that might be improved is the connection. I understood why the church was important to you and your community, but I didn't really feel connected to it in any way...but your post can only be 100 words, so that would be really hard to do.

  6. The article is well written and the pictures are great use of helping describe the place that matters to you, but I would to see more historical information about the church.
